• April 2, 2009: The initial release date was 2009-04-07. UK hardcover not scheduled until August 2011. Penguin/DAW website does not list it.

• February 26, 2010: The author's blog reports completion of a draft but still no publication date.

• April 13, 2010: Not listed on Amazon.com (404 error) but Amazon.co.uk reports an April 2009 release date. There are seven "reviews" from April to June 2009 discussing that the author is still working on the book.

• August 14, 2010: $24.95 on Amazon.com and no price on Amazon.ca. Amazon.com reports a March 1, 2011 publication date and Amazon.ca has April 1 2009. ISFDB publication date updated to 2011-03-00.

• October 7, 2010: $29.95 on Amazon.com and no price on Amazon.ca. Amazon.com and Amazon.ca report March 1, 2011 publication date and amazon.co.uk has April 2009. The page count has increased from 672 to 932. ISFDB publication date updated to $29.95 and 932 pages.

• May 15, 2012: The author's blog states here that there was a misprint of the first edition in which the number line was omitted from some (but not all) copies. This error was confined solely to the first print.
