Data verified through Sotheby's auction house listing of a 1st edition, 2nd impression, on Dec. 15, 2011.

It's worth noting that the frequent claim of an 1897 Grosset & Dunlap edition is clearly impossible, since that publishing house wasn't founded until 1898.
