ISFDB:Integrate Other Bibliographies
Ideally, the ISFDB should include the data contained in many different bibliographies, both print and online. This project page is an attempt to keep track of various efforts to incorporate these sources. We divide this into the major sources (all of which have verification slots in the "Verify this Publication" menu), and additional sources. The additional sources are often specialty sources, e.g. sub-genres of speculative fiction, geographical sources (e.g. "Canadian SF"), etc.. This should not include author-specific bibliographies, which should be listed on the individual author "Bibliographic Comments" pages. Project participants are invited to add additional sources to this second list when appropriate.
Major Bibliographic Sources
- Ahasuerus notes in this discussion that an early program had imported data from Contento1, so we expect to find few additions in this search. So far, we've found some additional publication months, lots of notes (editors, etc.), but only 2 new books. (Both books were listed as additional editions in notes accompanying the listed edition.)
