So the cover artwork is apparently an interior illustration of Glorious Battles of English History by Major C. H. Wylly with a Foreword by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Illustrated by Harry Payne, published by Raphael Tuck & Sons, London. First edition is undated, Abebooks.com estimates c.1915, OCLC/WorldCat gives [1917?]. Author's full name is Charles Herbert Wylly.
Cover artist is obviously Harry Payne, also misspelled as Henry A. Payne.
