Scott E. Green (June 3, 1951 - September 27, 2016) was a four-term member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. He is a former president of the Science Fiction Poetry Association, and Vice-President of the National Writers Union. He had a BA in Asian History from Bates college, and an MA in American History from Rhode Island College. His poetry appeared in most major genre poetry markets including Asimov`s and Analog, and was nominated for the Rhysling Award. He was a scholar of the field, publishing several reference books on SF poetry, and writing many essays and columns about it.
