Bio:Mitch Scheele

Mitch Scheele created three comic/sci-fi fanzines in the late '60s and early '70s; Mighty Crazy, Tripping Tangles, and the diplomacy fanzine, "Die Munich Zeitungsente." In 1974 he was associate editor, and then editor of "Orion" metaphysical magazine. In 1974-75 he worked on the production of British weeklies for Marvel Comics, and other freelance endeavors. Mitch did a comic strip titled "Culture Hero", published in several issues of the Linn-Benton Community College newspaper ("the Commuter") in 1976 and 1977. He worked as a graphic artist for the Statesman Journal newpaper in Salem, Oregon, from 1978 through 1980. Mitch's comic book, "Surf Sumo" was published in 1995 by Star Tiger, and the rights to it have since reverted to Mighty Graphics. MItch's current work, "Brewhaha" is a comic strip that appears in every issue of Mid-Atlantic Brewing News.
