Holly Dyess has been published in several small-circulation magazines: "Tales of the Talisman," "Blood Moon Rising,", "True Story," "Ballista" and "Beyond Centauri", among others. Aoife's Kiss, Anotherealm, and Chaos Theory Tales Askew have also used her work online.

Born in St. Joseph, Michigan, she has since called Arizona, South Carolina, Georgia, and Germany home. As of 2006, Alabama is where her mail is sent. An avid reader, she spends what little free time she has buried in novels as well as books on philosophy, world religions, and health and fitness.

After the birth of her son, Devin, she chose to focus on her novels more than the short stuff. She loves gargoyles, spiders, owls, and black cats, as well as anything that makes you laugh while checking your closet for critters with teeth.
