George Franklin Forbes was born in Boston, MA on June 26, 1915. He was married to Dr. Mary Eleanor Kimball on March 9, 1943. They had ten children: Marie, Dorothy, Carolyn (that's me), Kenneth, Barbara, Marjorie, Marilyn, Christopher, William, and Patricia. He was a Mathematician, specializing in computer guidance systems for the aero-space industry. He wrote and self-published a book: Digital Differential Analyzers. He died February 26, 1990.
