When not working for a living as a freelance editor, Alexandra Wolfe writes novels, short stories and the occasional screenplays for film and TV. Her first short story, The Dark, was published back in mid-80s. Since then she has gone on to write numerous short stories and articles, several novella-length works and a couple of really long novels. Alexandra worked throughout the 80s and early 90s with a couple of the big name publishers in both London and New York. Positions included layout designer, assistant editor, print & production editor, and editor. She also worked on a number of UK high-street magazines that included car magazine, Pro-Rally, parenting magazine, Parent, and the hugely successful music magazine, MOJO. During this time, she was also an editor of the British SF ezine, Quantum Edge, and was the publishing editor for the Star Trek fanzine, Quark’s News.
