According to Locus1, this name was also used as a pseudonym by John Marlyn for "The Baker’s Daughter", a short story in Spellbound (Winter 2000), which is not currently (2011-03-05) in the ISFDB. Marlyn is almost certainly not the author of the 1940's story we have included here.
