All the cover art is for University of Queensland Press, so is likely to be the one person.

The Fantasy Figures title only states "Peter Evans" on the cover shown. Could this be Peter J. Evans? (I just moved out a series of 5 game-related novels from Peter Evans to Peter J. Evans (based on covers and Amazon UK). )

The essay "Mind: Star Crossed" in Omni magazine is 1980, cf 1997 (being the earliest for the other entries), so is possibly another person altogether.
