Contento tells us that the short story "Blue Peter", listed here, was first published in the London Evening News on Jan. 13, 1939. The London Evening News short story index tells us that this author was a pseudonym for "J. P. Murray". The best information we have from there is the biographical details in their short story index, author biographies, which concludes that they know essentially nothing about "J. P. Murray".
