Mary B. Leader
A memorial service will be held today Crossroads Presbyterian Church, Mequon, at 2 p.m. for Mary B. Leader (nee Bartlet), who died April 27, 2004, at the age of 86. Internment will be at Wood National Cemetery. Schramka Densow Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
She was a longtime resident of Mequon, as well as an actress and writer. She was the author of published novels: "Triad" (1972) and "Salem’s Children" (1979). The family wishes to acknowledge the skill and kindness of the caregivers at Lasata Care Center.
Survivors include: cousins Charles Bartlet (Pat) Harker of Rockford, Ill., and Thomas Bartlet Harker of St. Louis, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eric S. Leader.
