Lynn Andrews has written a large number of New Age spirituality novels, usually involving her going to a past (or future) life, and the stories of those experiences. Much of this would qualify as speculative fiction, except that she writes on the presumption that these are non-fiction stories. As Kirkus reviews writes about one of her stories: "Andrews's odyssey comes off more like a psychotic episode than a spiritual journey, displaying apparent dissociation, dislocation, a disordered sense of time, hallucinations, and an inability--or at least unwillingness--to distinguish fantasy from reality." The Library of Congress does not classify her books with Fiction (or Literature), but rather with non-fiction. Based on the Amazon reviews of Dark Sister: A Sorcerer's Love Story, we conclude that this is written as a fable, albeit supporting her particular spiritual views. Thus even though the Library of Congress classifies this as non-fiction, we tentatively include it here as speculative fiction.
