Signature

I wondered where all the credits for Keith Birdsong covers came from, but have finally found some covers where you CAN detect his signature. It's normally very small, or very thin, or both - this sample is only a millimetre or two tall on the paperback. It's also often placed under other text (it's so fine either some cover designers didn't notice it, or didn't think people would look for it and so it could be overwritten with impunity). It's also often clipped as it tends to be at the bottom right of the cover (I just created this as I noticed someone had credited a Star Trek cover to "Biro", over 50 years after the last "Biro" art we had). Still, now I know what to look for I can go back and check a few more Star Trek covers. And so can you! ;-) BLongley 15:29, 3 Feb 2008 (CST)

Here's an example of a "typical" signature that's cut off. It's from Doomsday World.
