C. F. Bentley

C. F. Bentley is a pseudonym for Irene Radford with the evidence being:

  • The copyright page of Harmony (2008) reports “Copyright © 2008 by Phyllis Irene Radford.”
  • The back dust jacket flap for Harmony states
C.F. Bentley was named for two grandmothers, giving her a living connection to the past. A museum trained historian, she has spent many hours prowling pioneer cemeteries deepening these connections. Raised in a military family, she grew up all over the United States. Her interests and reading range from ancient history, to spiritual meditations, to space stations, and a whole lot in between. Her Signal Corps brother has launched several communications satellites on the Shuttle. Watching those launches got her hooked on the ideal of humans reaching out into the universe.
