Some works written by David Bell are by the Leicestershire (England) author of that name who writes under the pseudonym "Jack Wainer", and these are collected under the canonical name Jack Wainer. We do not know which (if any) of the entries on this page are by that Jack Wainer. Locus1 lists several other titles not included in the ISFDB as by David Bell/Jack Wainer, i.e. several "Peeping Tom" editorials, several columns in the British journal "Phantoms", and a short story in "Unhinged #5", 2000. That final short story is not listed on David Bell/Jack Wainer's web site as a story by him, and Locus1 could be in error.

There is another author, David Jack Bell who might also be responsible for some of these titles (although there is no particular reason to believe so).

Until and unless we receive additional information, the titles on this page are kept under this canonical name, and we assume that this is a third "David Bell".
