Scottish SF fan Bob Shaw (birthdate/birthplace etc. unknown) was variously known within British fandom of the late 1970s and early 1980s as "Fake Bob Shaw", "Bob fake Shaw", "Bob (Glasgow) Shaw", "Bob FOKT Shaw" (FOKT being the name of his Glasgow SF club Friends of Kilgore Trout) etc., in order to differentiate him from the more famous Northern Ireland author Bob Shaw. As both made many appearances in contemporary fanzines, editors may need to exercise care when attributing works to either. PeteYoung 11:41, 11 May 2016 (UTC)
