Reginald3

Reconciled with Reginald3. The contents of "The Professor Challenger Stories" omnibus needs to be updated with the fifth title, which is currently missing in the list of Works (confirmed it with LOCIS as well). Editors' names will need to be moved from Notes to their respective fields once we have support for non-anthology editors. Ahasuerus 21:43, 25 May 2006 (CDT)

Tuck

All entries reconciled with Tuck. Tuck differs from Reginald1 on the following points:

  • Reginald1 lists The Doings of Raffles Haw as "Novel?". Tuck lists it as a collection, and lists the stories contained within.
  • Tuck is unsure of the date for The Great Keinplatz Experiment (1895?). Reginald1 gives a date of 1894.
  • Tuck list the publication date for The Great Keinplatz Experiment and Other Tales of Twilight and the Unseen as 1925; Reginald1 lists it as 1919.
  • Reginald1 gives a page count of 319 for The Lost World; Tuck gives 309.

Clute/Grant

All entries reconciled with Clute/Grant. Issues:

  • Clute/Grant gives a date of 1888 for The Mystery of Cloomber. Everyone else gives a date of 1889.
  • Clute/Grant asserts that The Great Keinplatz Experiment (incomplete title) is a variant title of The Captain of the Polestar and Other Tales. While some of the titles are shared between the two publications, they do not contain the same number of stories, and each publication contains stories not found in the other. Doesn't appear to actually be a variant title.
  • Clute/Grant lists a new collection: Tales of Twilight and the Unseen (1922), which is suspiciously similar to: The Great Keinplatz Experiment and Other Tales of Twilight and the Unseen (1919).

Clute/Nicholls

All entries reconciled with Clute/Nicholls. Issues:

  • Clute/Nicholls gives a date of 1885 for The Parasite. The correct date is 1894.
