Note: Reprinted in Laumer's 1982 collection "Knight of Delusions", which indicated that the copyright date at the time was 1971. Either copyright had been renewed or it was a publisher's error since the original 1967 appearance of the story has been confirmed.
Synopsis: A hugely powerful artificially intelligent war machine, mothballed for 70 years, is accidentally reawakened and picks up its combat mission where it left off, presenting a dire threat to the residents of the now peaceful world.
