Synopsis: Symphony of Destruction tells the story of three characters, ostensibly alone on a ruined spaceship. Hannah appears to be the sole surviving human on board, however, a comatose man is soon revealed, under the care of the robotic doctor/chaplain, Brother Anderson. Technological elements involving asteroid mining, long distance space travel, and possibly time-travel are merely hinted at, presumably to be fleshed out in following books. Themes tend toward the human character, and include elements of isolation, trust, awareness, and the nature of humanity and robotic intelligence.
