Synopsis: Mr. Planemaker's Flying Machine is volume one in the Planemaker series of stories. Dell and Emmelisa Planemaker are the first two children to travel into space. They qualify as trained astronauts at the Manned Spaceflight Centre in Harwareland,and then begin their first mission into space: to follow their father's trail of light. On the satellite station Orbit II, they meet Mr. A. Leon Spaceman from the planet Winover. He helps them to locate the trail of light formed by the comet Philarry. The journey into space puts them in jeopardy, and without the help of mission control, their lives are in their own hands.
