Synopsis: A Cosmic Monopole is captured in CERN and transformed into a black hole. Two men are absorbed and find themselves outside the Universe, which is a Cosmic Egg, part of the reproductive system of Entroilians. Scientist Michael breaks the egg's crystalline shell and time stops everywhere inside the Universe except near fragments of crystal which have fallen into the universe. Can fourteen-year-old Catriona collect all the crystals and take them down the time tunnel to restart time? Or will creatures from outside the universe come up the tunnel and mate with human women to produce new hybrid creatures?
