Note:

First publication in 1911 as a serial in the French newspaper Le Matin.
First book publication in two separate volumes in 1922 (Joseph Ferenczi & fils), respectively called Le mystère des XV and Le mystère des XV: Le triomphe de l'amour.
Each volume was later published as Le secret des XII et Les conquérants de Mars, 1954 (André Jaeger).
The unsold copies of these two volumes were then bound together in an OMNIBUS in the 1950s (Éditions d'Hauteville).
The diverse translations below seem to be based on the complete series.

Synopsis: Mad scientist Oxus tries to conquer the planet Mars.
