Synopsis: THE LIVING ONE led his followers to Odysseus just in time to escape the nuclear war on Earth. On their new planet, the settlers created a high civilization, rich in technical capabilities and in closeness to the Spirit. In time, they were followed by invaders from the home planet. Evil survivors of the holocaust, they were brutal and materialistic and came only to destroy and enslave. They ruthlessly slaughtered the population of Odysseus. Some were taken captive. But a powerful handful—the Swordsmen and their leader Bhakta—remained free. Bhakta, though still powerful, was outnumbered by thousands. Gifted with the Spirit and acting under guidance from invisible Masters, he was fated to be the rescuer of his people. And he must rescue them to become the Master he was born to be. And to be reunited with his beloved.
