    • Edition statement on the fourth page following the last numbered page. "The collection of novels and African sights, called MOMBASA MADRIGAL AND OTHER AFRICAN ESCAPADES is a limited edition. This is the first series, 12 copies (using Roman numerals from I to X [sic]) with 180g vergé in the cover." The number of the copy is handwritten below this.
