Longmans & Co.'s New Books" without comment, and is listed as received in The Observer.

- Internet Archive provides one digital copy without the original cover. -- five leaves printed front matter -- stories span p[1]-269 -- no back matter At least the first initial letter by Anstey is unusually large and elaborate: a line drawing of the black poodle; signed "F.A." (page 1).
