    • The cover of this second printing is identical to one of the two covers described for the first printing. A comparison of this cover (from Verifier1) with that of the first printing (from Wikipedia) shows they are the same.
    • "Copyright 1911 by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Copyright 1910, 1911, by the Phillips Publishing Co."
    • Cover pastedown, color frontispiece, and 3 additional color plates are signed "M.L.Kick.", although the "c" in that name might be "e" or "r"." The period after "Kick." implies that this is a contraction of the artist's full name.
