    • There appear to be no differences between this edition and the Macmillan UK hc edition (available to the verifier for comparison) ISBN-9780230765108, with the exception of a limitation page inserted between the full and half title pages. This limitation page states "This edition of Railsea is limited to five hundred numbered copies signed by the author". There is no mention anywhere in this book that it was exclusively issued by the Book Depository UK (only evident from information on their website).
    • The copyright page is identical to the Macmillan UK edition including the ISBN-9780230765108. The slipcase has the different ISBN of '9780230767560'.
    • From the copyright page: 'First published in the UK 2012 by Macmillan'. Full printing line: [ 1 3 5 7 9 8 6 4 2 ].
    • Issued without a dust jacket with an illustrated slipcase (the slipcase design matches the dust cover for the Macmillan UK edition).

    • Interior art credit was confirmed by doing an illustration comparison against the Ballantine hc edition on the publisher's website:Railsea.
