Note: Tang dynasty writer and official, c.738-c.794. Name also rendered as Dai Fu. Best known for the now-lost collection The Great Book of Marvels (廣異記-Guangyi ji/Kuang-i chi), many of the tales were preserved in the Taiping guangji (太平廣記).
