• Note: From author's website (extracted 2020-05-20) John grew up in East Leroy, a small town in Michigan. He graduated from Athens High School, and served in the Army as a non-commissioned officer during the Viet Nam War era. John graduated from Appalachian Bible College and Berean Christian College. He has experience as a school teacher, a pastor, and has been a writer of stories since his two sons were knee high to a gnome. He was part of a sci-fi fantasy writers' group in the Seattle area for twelve years. He and his artist wife, Sue, presently live in Pahrump, Nevada, a sprawling town in the Mojave Desert, where he enjoys hiking in the desert mountains, pursuing his writing projects, and leading a writers' group.
