Note: Elizabeth 'Liz' Ziemska was born in Poland and grew up in New York and L.A. She went to Vassar and UCLA, where she earned a degree in Biology. After several years working as an agent first in the New York publishing industry and then in L.A.'s film industry, she decided to pursue writing at the Bennington Writing Seminars, where she earned her MFA in 2008. She lives and works in Malibu, California with her family and two hairy dogs.
