Note: Jean Thomas Cullen began publishing books on-line in April 1996. Under the name John T. Cullen he has published thrillers, nonfiction, and other works. Under the name John Argo, he has published mainly SFFH, but also suspense and historical fiction. Along with Brian Callahan, he launched a web-only genre magazine (under the titles Outside, 1998-1999, Deep Outside, 1999-2002, and Far Sector, 2002-2007) which SFE3 recognized as the "first paying online speculative fiction market that had not seen a previous print version and which survived more than one or two issues". U.S. Army brat born in Bavaria, West Germany as a U.S. citizen; lived in West Germany, France, and Luxembourg until age 10. Moved to Connecticut with his family upon his father's retirement. Through his mother's line, also a Luxembourg citizen; fluent in Luxembourgeois, German, and English. Stationed in West Germany as U.S. Army soldier five years during his 20s, where he wrote novels and poetry in his free time and drove around Europe (Paris, Brussels, Heidelberg, etc) in his orange VW van.
