Welcome!

Hello, Ohpopshop, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Hauck 09:28, 2 April 2018 (EDT)

A Wild Night in Galway

Hello, your submission didn't change anything and your note to moderator lacks the URL. What were you trying to achieve? Hauck 09:29, 2 April 2018 (EDT)

I've saved this link from the XML of your submission. Is it this one that you wanted to add? Hauck 09:35, 2 April 2018 (EDT)
Umm, I actually didn't expect my submission to change anything because I wasn't entirely sure of the procedure but knew it wasn't correct, which is why I opted to throw myself on the mercy of a moderator instead--I wasn't exactly sure about how to append a URL showing that there actually is verification of the "original publication" listing available on the internet. And yes, I did notice after I pressed "enter" that the URL that in fact was the whole point of my comment (=to provide verification of the original publication date of the Bradbury story in question) was elided from the note I sent. Sigh. Sorry for the hassle; I shouldn't be fiddling with this stuff for the first time very late at night on my side of the world when I'm already exhausted and should be getting ready for bed. (And add to this the fact that I'm not even certain if I'm responding in the correct place . . .)Ohpopshop 11:44, 2 April 2018 (EDT)
Yes, you're in the right place (bar some trivial formalism). In theory, the link you provided should go in the "Web Page 1:" field at the story's title level here, editable via the "Edit This Title" link on the left. But in this case, it seems that, in order to "see" Bradbury's story, you need to be a subscriber to the site. Am I right? If so, we do not enter such links. Hauck 11:56, 2 April 2018 (EDT)
