The Hollowing

I approved your submission of this book, but I made a couple of adjustments.

  • We do not have permission from Cerridwen Press to deep-link to their site (which we need, see ISFDB:Image linking permissions) so i uploaded a copy of the cover image to our wiki instead, and linked to that.
  • I removed the "blurb" from the notes section, and moved it to the synopsis field of the title record, which is a better place for it.
  • Could you please indicate which format or formats this ebook is available in? That would properly go in the publication notes.

The results are: The publication record and the matching title record. Please check them and make any needed corections.

You might also want to look at Publisher:Project Gutenberg for some guides on nhanfling ebooks here. Not all of the PG details will fit, but some will.

Thank you for your contributions. -DES Talk 04:48, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

Gilded Folly

Again I approved this, and made several adjustments, as follows:

  • Again, I uploded a copy of the cover image to our wiki, as we do not have permisison to deep link to the Cerridwen Press site.
  • In this case your blurb does not work as a synopsis, serving merely as advertising, so i removed it.
  • You attempted to enter both an ebook and a trade paperback in the same record. We consider these two separate publicaions of the same tiutle, and so two separate (but linked) records must be created. The easy way to do this is to enter one of the formats, wait until it has been approved, go to the publication screen, and use the "Clone this pub" link. This creates a copy of the pub, and allows you to change any odf the metadate fields, while keeping the result linked to the same title record.
  • We enter all prices with a currency symbol, which i added.
  • Our code for "trade paperback" is "tp". For mass-market paperback, we use "pb", and for hardcover, we use "hc". See Help:Screen:EditPub for less commonly used codes, adn much other useful information.

The results are here, please check tham and make any needed corrections.

In Trysts

From the supplied blurb, this appears to be a romance/thriller novel. In what way is is speculative fiction?
