Random sample of 200 English-language titles (last 10 of each of the first 20 alphabetical pages). SHORTFICTION, POEM, and OMNIBUS excluded so as to correspond more closely to publications. By 160 distinct author-names (some of these names, like "Daisy Meadows," are collective pseudonyms) Sample contained 67 NOVEL, 23 CHAPBOOK, 8 COLLECTION, 2 NONFICTION; ranged in date from 1865 to 2018, with 58% being more recent than 2010 and 82% being more recent than 2000.
