Since the age of 14, I have been reading SF, almost always German translations of English, mostly American SF. Later on, I discovered SF from East Europe. Not only the obvious Stanisław Lem or the brothers Arkady and Boris Strugatsky, but a lot of others not well known authors from the East. I'm a little bit older now, and my collection of SF grew so much, that I had to put the book list in a database. First, I wrote my own DB in Lisp. Today I used Collectorz.com Book Collector (since 2005). Most data I took from the books I own, and some from the Collectorz.com Core DB. In recent years, I got my hands on some English originals of the translations, I collected over the years. During inserting these books in my DB, I use information of www.isfdb.org. I won't give up working on my DB, but I want to give something back to ISFDB. So once in a while, I try to correct/insert some books/editions, which can't be found right now.
