This page is a help or manual page for the ISFDB database. It describes standards or methods for entering or maintaining data in the ISFDB database, or otherwise working with the database. If you want to delete a title, you must first either delete all publications that refer to it or remove the title from the affected publications. If there are any awards, reviews or variant titles linked to the about-to-be-deleted title, they must also be deleted or unlinked from the title. Once you have done all of that, display the title and click on the "Delete this Title" link in the left navigation bar.

If the software doesn't find any publications, awards, reviews or variant titles associated with this title, it will prompt you to enter an optional reason for deletion. The reason will be accessible to the approving moderator. Enter the reason and then click the "Delete" button, which will add the deletion request to the submission queue. When a moderator approves the submission, the title will be deleted.
