Help:Screen:DeleteTitle

This page is a help or manual page for the ISFDB database. It describes standards or methods for entering or maintaining data in the ISFDB database, or otherwise working with the database. If you want to delete a title, you must first delete all the publications that refer to it, or edit the publications so they no longer refer to it. Once you have done that, if you display the title, you can then click on the "Delete this Title" link in the left navbar.

This will first check for any publications that refer to this title; if it finds any it will print the error message: " <n> publications still refer to this title", and it will list the publications it found.

If no publications are found, then clicking on "Delete this Title" will immediately submit a delete request to the submission queue. When a moderator approves the submission, the title will be deleted.
