Help:Screen:DeleteSeries

This page is a help or manual page for the ISFDB database. It describes standards or methods for entering or maintaining data in the ISFDB database, or otherwise working with the database. If you want to delete a series, you must first delete all of its titles and sub-series or edit them so that they no longer refer to the series. Once you have done that, if you display the series, you can click on the "Delete Series" link in the navigation bar on the left.

This will first check for any titles and/or sub-series that still refer to this series; if it finds any, it will display an error message and you will not be able to delete the series.

If no associated titles and/or sub-series are found, the software will prompt you to enter the reason for deletion. Once you do so and click "Submit" the software will place a delete request on the submission queue. When a moderator approves the submission, the series will be deleted.
