I'm a long time reader and fan of Science Fiction and Fantasy. Recently I bought the inventory of an on-line bookseller, and am happily going through the process of learning the trade. Not so much to make money (my computer consulting work pays far better), but for the joy of connecting people with books I love that they want.

The ISFDB is a wonderful resource that, if it didn't already exist, I would have set about trying to create. I'm glad it exists in the form it does, and as I work with my inventory I plan to contribute verifications and updates to the database.

What a wonderful new world, that has such communities in it.
