Robert Sabuda is better known as the author and creator of "pop-up" books but has done interior illustrations for speculative fiction works. Though he uses Robert Sabuda for his pop-up works his canonical name on ISFDB is Robert J. Sabuda on ISFDB as that's how he was credited when he illustrated speculative fiction works.

He is credited as Robert A. Sabuda in The Search for Kä published by Bantam. This is incorrect and his middle initial is "J." Source: e-mail from the artist in May-2008:

There is indeed one book in the series that incorrectly has my middle initial as A. My middle initial is J.

This was a series of sci-fi books that I illustrated maps when I was still in high school!

Robert Sabuda

He is credited as Robert Clarke Sabuda on Amazon for several pop-up books. This is apparently in error as he did several joint projects with Clement Clarke Moore and somewhere along the line the names must have been merged as "Robert Clarke Sabuda" when importing the data into Amazon. The cover images clearly show either "Robert Sabuda" or "Clement Clarke Moore & Robert Sabuda." See [1]
